John Winsauer is president of Group Southeast, Inc., a consulting firm that provides assisted management services to corporations and non-profit organizations. He confers regularly with executives from a variety of fields to help create computerized solutions to technical business problems. An alumni of the University of Tennessee he finished his graduate work in 1984. 

Raised in Mount Prospect, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, John was drafted into the Army in 1969. He served with a mechanized combat unit in Viet Nam. After returning home John was hired as a sales representative for American Greetings Corporation. He moved to Tennessee in 1976 as sales administrator for A&E Plastiline. 

John and his wife, Anne, and two children, Emily and Jonathan, live in Knoxville.
