Chris ‘Schmo’ Schmalz is a Buckeye native having grown up in
Cincinnati, Ohio . He currently serves as the Business Development Director for Bowen Engineering Corporation. Bowen is a general contractor in the industrial construction industry specializing in concrete, piping and structural steel work. He has a B.A. degree from
DePauw
University in Greencastle
Indiana, where he majored in History and minored in Psychology.
Chris has lived on both coasts and spent many years in the
San Francisco
Bay Area and in
Boston. Most recently, Schmo lived for the past 15 years in
Indianapolis and worked in the computer industry. He is a big fan of Apple Macintosh computers.
Chris is an avid jogger and enjoys music, having attended 56 Grateful Dead concerts in his younger days.
Chris has a son Eric (12) and a daughter Abby (10) who live with their mother in
Santa Fe, NM .
